City Pools are getting into the holiday spirit by offering a Food Bank Swim at Stan Siwik, Fritz Sick and Nicholas Sheran Pools on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Bring along a non-perishable food item and/or a financial donation to support our local food banks and receive admission for free

AMA- Fill Our Fleet
AMA is partnering with our local food banks to bring a little holiday Cheer. You can donate money or non-perishable meal items between November 21 to December 10, 2018.
Donation can be made on locations, online or on our websites #fillourfleet
Centre Village Mall Toy Mountain—Purchase a new toy for a child in need and add it to the Toy Mountain collection site at Centre Village Mall. Program will launch on November 22nd and will continue until December 22nd.

Black Friday, a day of crazy sales, crazy crowds and crazy people. Let’s change that and let us give back to you while you give back to those who need it.
We WILL have huge Black Friday sales but you are ONLY eligible for them if you bring a non perishable food donation for the Lethbridge Food Bank! (or cash donations accepted in lieu). The Lethbridge Food Bank is partnering with us on this amazing day, providing bins for all your generous donations.

November 24th- December 16th
Copperwood community and builder group Ashcroft Homes, Daytona Homes and Galko Homes will be having a Holiday Food Drive to “Pack the Pantry” of the show homes in support of the Lethbridge Food Bank. Visit one of their show homes and donate to the Lethbridge Food Bank
Come out to the game on November 30th to join in the Teddy & Touque Toss. New stuffed toys, touques and mittens will be collected at the game and distributed to a number of local agencies.Our agencies use these items throughout the year and need the support of the community
Interfaith will require support through volunteers and participation.
November 30- December 24th
Loblaw Extra Helping Holiday Campaign—November 30 until December 24th the Real Canadian Superstore and Real Canadian Wholesale Club will be collecting food and funds for local food banks. Drop off your food donation in store, or give cash directly at the till when purchasing your groceries.
December 1st- 12th
Lethbridge Public Library Food for Fines—December 1-12th Bring a food donation to reduce your amount due for late fines and hold fees. 1 Food Item = $5 off Library Fines.
December 1st Drop in from 8am—Noon, no appointment necessary, shuttle service or while you wait, Davis GMC Buick will provide a Free Oil Lube & Filter for a minimum $50 donation to local food banks.
Tax receipts are provided
Sobeys Uplands Give the Gift of Food —Join us at Sobeys Uplands on December 1st for a Winter Wonderland that will include food, festivities and good-old winter fun! Financial Gifts accepted at the tills December 1—16th, and food bank most wanted items always accepted. Donations benefit Interfaith Food Bank.
Save On Foods Stuff A Bus— December 4th. Stop in to either Save On Foods to help us Stuff A Bus full of food for the food banks this Christmas and save 15% on your purchases. Pre-packaged hampers will be available in-store, and volunteers will be present with lists of our most wanted foods. We will need volunteers for this event as well.
27th Annual Mayor’s Christmas Concert—Join the Lethbridge Community Band Society on Saturday, December 8th at 7pm at Southminster United Church. Tickets available at Downtown ATB Branch, online at LCBS.ca, at CASA or at the door. $15 for adults, children 12 and under are free. Bring along a donation of food, funds or toys for local families in need.
Deutsche Weihnachtslieder—December 9th – Immanuel Lutheran Church will host the Annual German Language Service of Lessons and Carols at 2:30pm. A free will offering will be taken on behalf of Interfaith Food Bank.

Lethbridge Symphony Toonies for Turkeys—December 16 & 17 – Join the Lethbridge Symphony for *Lizzy Hoyt’s Celtic-Folk Christmas*, as award-winning Canadian folk artist Lizzy Hoyt brings her soaring Celtic Carols to warm your heart and joins forces with the Symphony for Seasonal Favourites, old and new on Sunday, December 16 at 3pm and Monday, December 17 at 7:30pm at Southminster United Church.
